Foiling Without A Machine

Foiled sentiments can really add to a card!
But not everyone has a machine to foil with.
(no pun intended!)
Welcome to the world of foiling WITHOUT a machine!

Here are cards using this technique.
The sentiments on the card on the right were foiled.
On the card on the left, was the scrap piece from the foiling.

Rachel used these fabrics to create her cards.

Here are some more cards using these fabrics.

Foiling (without a machine) is done with "transfer stickies."
You remove the backing from your sentiment,
press it firmly/rub it onto your card,
and gently remove the plastic top.
It is now ready for foil to be placed over top.
After rubbing the foil firmly with your finger,
you gently remove the piece of foil,
and you have your foiled sentiment!

Here are some transfer stickies from Pink & Main
along with the dies to cut out a background for your sentiments.
Or you can simply use the dies for your sentiments.

Here is another sample of foiling.

We also have "stick & shine" from Penny Black.
These are to be used with transfer foils.

Here are the transfer foils that we have in stock.
Please note:  these foils are different from the heat activated foils!
That's why you don't need a machine to use them!

We also have Pop-Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam Sheets.

We have gold and white glitter sheets.
We are currently out of the black glitter sheets,
but we are expecting them in the next order.

(gold & white sheets)

Here is a side view of the foam sheets.

These sheets can be cut with a die,
and add dimension (and glitter) to your creations.

Happy Wednesday!
Cheryl

  1. These look really attractive! All we needed was some company to be creative so “the rest of us” could foil! 👍👍
