American Muscle, Snowy Woods & Big Hugs

We have a lot to show you today.
Rachel saw these fabrics, and it reminded her of her husband.
If you've seen the building across the street from us, you would understand why.

(American Muscle Panel 2/3 yard)

This fabric also coordinates with them.

She created these simple but perfect-for-the-right-person cards.

Cheryl C. created this snowy woods card for us.

(inside of card)

She used clear plastic to create the window-effect.
She also used glitter to make the snow look more snowy.
(Sorry it's not showing up well on the photo.)

Here's the fabric that was used to create this card.

She used a bit of holly from this fabric as well.

This fabric coordinates with it as well.

Poinsettia Elegance

Rachel created this beautiful scrapbook page layout.

The images came from these two fabrics.

From the leftovers of the fabrics, she created these gorgeous cards.

(inside of one card)

She also made a gift-pack of cards and a box to hold them.

The box holds 4 cards and 4 envelopes.

Here is another gift idea.
She made covers for post-it note pads.

(inside of the covers)

I love the pocket on the left to hold "extra" notes.

We're supposed to get a lot of snow in our corner of the world.
Keep creating and enjoy your weather!

Stamping With Shirley

Our friend, Shirley, was with us one day last week
demonstrating how to stamp with multiple colors and one stamp.
She created these cards for us.

Using the Misty Stamp Platform, she placed the cling stamp on it
and stamped multiple times, cleaning and re-inking as needed
to create the look that she wanted.

She embellished the cards with fabric images, too.
Here are the stamps that she used to create the images on these cards.

She used this tree-line stamp for the background of the second card.
There is also a die to cut those trees out.

Here is another card that she created with the trees.

We have been getting fun stencils here at the Farmhouse!
I created this slim-card background using a plaid stencil pattern.

(inside of card)

I used this two-piece stencil set to create the background.
The sentiment on the front of the card came from this stamp set.

The images came from this fabric.

We've been getting scrap-booking papers for Valentine's Day.
Stay tuned for a sneak peek!

Christmas Cardinal

Christmas has come to Farmhouse Memories!

Rachel made this beautiful quilt wall hanging from the fabric shown below.

                                  #24

                                   #35

These cards were also made from the same fabric.

Stamps from Taylored Expressions used to make the cards.

Happy Thursday!

Christmas Postage Stamps & Hoffman Print

For all of you who love the little red Christmas trucks,
here is a red-truck postage-stamp fabric that is fun.

For our fabric club Christmas gift,
I made chocolate-covered peanut butter crackers,
and Rachel created the gift bags to hold them.
She used this postage stamp fabric.

She covered a plain white paper bag (that can be found at the Farmhouse)
with scrapbooking paper, and added embellishment.

She used this holly fabric, too, that coordinates with the postage stamp fabric.

She also created post-it note pad covers
and embellished them with the postage stamps and holly.
She even covered a mini composition book with them.

Don't forget to decorate the inside ...

... and cover any ugly spots.

(back of mini composition book)

You can also make a cover for a larger post-it note pad ...

... and make a flap on the inside of it.

Here is a beautiful Hoffman print!

Rachel created these cards a few weeks ago with this print.

(insides of cards)

She created the backgrounds on the cards
using these stencils, inks and blending brushes
from Taylored Expressions.

Taylored Expressions items are on sale this week
during our annual Christmas Sale!

Happy Wednesday!
