Chirstmas Cards & Washi Tape

There's plenty of seasonal cards popping up around here...
This is one of the latest:

The fabric looks like this:

The stamp that was used on the outside comes from this set:
(the stamp on the inside is a penny black stamp that we're out of)

Here's a totally different look using washi tape!

I covered a piece of white cardstock with washi tape for this one...

The embellishments come from this stamp & die set:
I stamped the pumpkin on orange and colored it with chalk & copic markers. The acorn was simply stamped with gold ink onto black cardstock.

On a different note, we have spaces available for the upcoming Brother Scan & Cut play date on Friday, November 4th. The day will be set up as a crop where you work on your own projects; Sylvia will be on hand to help you. The deadline to signup is soon so if you would like to be a part of the class contact us ASAP via phone (717-442-1907) or email (farmhousememories@gmail.com).

Cards & Corner Bookmarks

We thought you all might enjoy a "bonus post".
Here's what I was up to today...

These are corner bookmarks. They fit like a pocket around the corner of your page and are quite simple to make! We have the pattern available at the store.

Here's a card with the same fabric:

The fabric we used looks like this:

These two are in the same line and are really fun as well!

Cheryl used the die set at right and the same fabric for a different look:

Enjoy your evening!

Purple Pansies

Purple pansy fabric is on the blog today!
There are three fabrics in this gorgeous line: an allover flower print, border, and butterflies.

The pansies may look large, but they work great on bags...

...or on 5 x 7 cards!

Janae even made these scrapbook page titles using the butterfly fabric:

 Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone!
There are so many new things around here it was hard to know what to show you all today! We decided to show you the projects we made with the fall leaf and winter bird fabrics.

The fall paper & leaf fabric look like this:

And here are the cards Nancy made:
I love her idea of arranging the leaves into wreaths!

This is the Christmas plaid paper & bird fabric:

And this is Rachel's card:

Here's a favor she made just for fun with the same fabric:

Christmas Cards

There are four more days of Shop Hop left!
In spite of the craziness, we managed to create some new things at the Farmhouse. Here's a few of our latest projects:

Who doesn't love snowmen cards?

The insides:

For two of the cards we simply cut a rectangle out of the fabric (below left), cut out a matching snowman, and mounted him on top of the rectangle. For the other two cards we cut out a snowman and attached him to snow paper (below right).

On the inside of the cards we used the mini snowman from the coordinating fabric below:

We even made mini cards with this fabric! These plain white 3 x 3 cards come in packs of 20. Envelopes are included.

The snowflake embellishments used:

Here's another fun idea that Rachel did:

 the fabric looks like this:

and the bow/holly die set and wood paper look like this:

Enjoy your day everyone!
