New Quilt Dies

There are new quilt dies coming out, and we have some ordered!
(Just in time for the February Shop Hop coupon!)
Here is a sample of one of those dies.

(inside of the card)

On this card, the quilt is on the inside of the card.
Rachel used this new window die cut to create the front of the card.

She also used this fabric to embellish the card.

For those of you who signed up for the Quilting with Paper Class on February 24,
here is a sample of the second card that will be made in that class.

(inside of card)

Rachel used this die cut and stamp set from Purple Daisy Design to make this card.

It is a two-step process where you stamp the pattern and color it.
Then you use the die cut to cut out holes that fit perfectly over top
of the pattern that you stamped.

Rachel used this die cut to create grid-lines over the stamped and cut pieces
to give the quilt a finished look.

She used the pie fabric to embellish this card as well.

Here is a sample of what you can do with the leftover pieces
that were punched out from these two dies.

We still have openings left in the Quilting with Paper Class.
It is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, at 9:30 am.
Call us if you are interested in participating in this (or any other) class.

We still have openings for the Valentine Crop on February 14.
You bring your own projects and we provide lunch.

Happy crafting!
Cheryl

The rosebud on the left card came from a packet of rosebuds.

Rachel also made these cards.

(inside of cards)

The roses came from this fabric.

She used these papers for backgrounds.

The bees came from this fabric.

Have a great rest of the week!

Spring Birds

Here are some more beautiful spring cards that Rachel made.

(inside of card)

Two more cards . . .

(inside of cards)

These are the fabrics that she used to create these cards.

She also used this stamp set for the wording on the cards.

Here is a cute Valentine's Day card that Rachel also made.

She used a hedgehog from this fabric.
(Excuse the wrinkles - we only have fat quarters left!)

She used this fabric for the words on the front of the card.

Here is a closer view of this fabric.

She used these dies to create the large heart on the front of the card.

These two sets coordinate perfectly together to create a straight-edged cut heart
and a lacy-look-edged heart.

Here is the beautiful red paper she used to back the front of the card.

Enjoy your day!

Fabric Club

Today was Card-making with Fabric Club.
Burnsie was our hostess, and this is the card she made.

She created this card using this fabric.

She also used a seagull fabric that we no longer have,
but you could use similar paper in its place.
She used these brads to embellish the card.

The sand look came from sandpaper (from the hardware store),
and she embossed it.

Rachel made this card for club today.

This is called a Four-fold Card.
She used these fabrics to embellish this card.

She also used these dies . . .

. . . and stamps from this set.

Happy New Year!
