Nativity

Some beautiful nativity fabric arrived at the Farmhouse recently!
We are eager to show it to you!

I made these two 5x7 cards from it today.

I used this stamp-and-die set on both cards.

Gotta run!
We are almost ready for Shop Hop!
It starts next Wednesday, and Rachel is very busy setting up beautiful displays!
We hope to see many of you!

Card Challenge II

Last week I talked about the card challenge that we had with the Club ladies.
Here are the rest of the cards.

Linda created this bridge-card with this cute fabric.

(fabric)

She used the same fabric and made this card as well.

Burnsie created these Santa Claus cards for us.

Her cards come from this fabric.

This beautiful card was made by Adina.

She included both of these fabrics into the creation of her card.

Lu put a lot of time into creating this uniquely folded card.

This fabric has flown out the door, and we only have a few fat quarters left of it.

Rachel also had the ladies each decorate a folder.

This makes a nice simple gift to give to a child, or to brighten someone
who is in the hospital and needs a place to corral
all those papers that they give you during your stay.

It's a larger image that came from this panel.

You can also use larger images to decorate a gift bag.

Here's a matching card to go with it.
There are other coordinating fabrics in this line.

Here are pictures from our Club meeting and the folders that they made.

We are gearing up for the Buggies-and-Buds Shop Hop starting the end of the month!
The gift basket prizes were assembled this morning,
and they are chock-full of neat stuff!
If you visit 10 or more of the stores and get your passport stamped at each one,
you will be entered into a drawing for one of the gift baskets.
There are 11 gift baskets.

Here's a sneak peak of one of them!

Tomorrow we plan to assemble our Make-N-Take kits!
Shop Hop runs for two weeks starting September 25.
We are out of passports, but some of the other shops still have some available
if you have not purchased yours yet.

Happy Wednesday!

Card Challenge

At our last Card-Making with Fabric Club meeting in August,
Rachel issued a challenge to each lady that wanted to participate.
They were allowed to pick one fat quarter of fabric from her basket
and make at least one card from it to show at today's meeting.
Here are some of the cards that were created.

This beautiful card was made by Dora.

(inside of card)

She used this fabric to create her card.

This card with a unique fold was made by Betty.

When you open it up and flip the front of the card back,
it becomes a stand to support the card.

This is the fabric that she used.

Barb created this cute card for us.

She used this fabric to make it.

Cheryl (not me) made these lovely cards.
Notice that the one has a snow globe on it that she created.
It has mica chips in it to create the snow effect.

Her cards came from this fabric.

Check back with us next week for the rest of the cards that were created!
