Squirrels and More

Here is some new squirrel fabric at the Farmhouse.

This is what I created from it.

The words were created on the computer.
We printed off some sheets with these words.
You use the lower half of the sheet as your card base,
and cut the words out from the top half to use on the card.

We just got some beautiful seashell fabric into the Farmhouse.

We also got some more funny "Road-trip ladies" as well.

They will look great on cards and scrapbook pages,
and Rachel and I are eager to create things with them!
The "Road-trip" coordinates with these fabrics that we already have.

Stay warm where you're at!  It's cold and blustery here!

Happy Valentine's

With Valentine's Day just around the corner,
we thought we would show you some more cards with hearts.

Dorothy made these cards for us.

(inside of card)

She used this fabric on the dog card.

She used these heart-dies on the front of the card.

She used these fabrics on the cat card.

She also used this musical line die on the front of the cat card.

We had a class on making paper quilts today.
Here is a card similar to one of the cards that they made in the class.

(inside of card)

They used a quilt die on the front of the card.

It's a rainy day here in Paradise.
We hope you are staying dry where you are at!

Paper Quilts Class

If you've ever wanted to quilt but didn't have the time or resources, here is an idea for you!
You can make a beautiful paper quilt in minutes!
This is a preview of our Paper Quilts Class scheduled for next week.

These 2 cards have been made with the Log Cabin Quilt Die from Purple Daisy Design.
The students will be making one of these cards in our Paper Quilts Class.

Here is another idea to use the leftover pieces from your die-cut.
(In the quilting world, this pattern is called "Rail Fence".)

We will also be making a window card like the one below using a quilt die.

This class is scheduled for Thursday, January 24, at 9:30 am.
If you would like to learn how to create quilts in minutes, give us a call!

Blue Is In

Rachel has been fascinated with blue lately.
This is her "blue" wall at the Farmhouse.

See the scrapbook pages hanging in the top right corner
of the picture? We offer scrapbook-page kits to make pages just like it.

Here is a blue tea card that Rachel created recently.

(inside of card)

She used different blue fabrics to create the background on the front of the card.
Here is the teacup fabric that she used.

She used words from this stamp set for the card.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
I created this card in honor of it.

The hearts came from this fabric.

Here is the paper that I used.  I am showing two sheets of the same paper in each photo because it is double-sided paper and I wanted you to be able to see both sides.

We want to show you a preview of a class we are planning for in February.

(inside of card)

In Inking With Stencils class (taught by Shirley), we will be making
card backgrounds with Tim Holtz stencils and distressing inks.
Notice the backgrounds above.  They were created with stencils and distressing inks.

Here is another card with a different background.

We used this die to create the evergreen branch.

We used these fabrics to embellish the first card.

This class is scheduled for Saturday morning, February 9, 2019.
Contact us if you are interested in participating in this class.

Our 13th anniversary sale is happening next week, January 14-19.

January Club

Today was our Card-making With Fabric Club meeting.
Tricia was our hostess.  She designed these cute cards
and had the ladies making one like these.

All of these cards came from this fabric.

Rachel made this card for the ladies to make one like it.

She used these fabrics to create this card.

May 2019 be a blessed year in your life.
Continue to be creative!
