Christmas Cards

Here is a another Christmas card that Rachel made.

This is the inside of the card.

She used the poinsettias from this fabric.

She used this die to make the gold sprigs that are in among the flowers.

She also used this die to make the corner decorative pieces.

Here are some more cards she made using the Christmas Bell die set.

(the inside of one of the cards)

She used this fabric . . .

. . . and these papers.

You might not be able to tell from the photo, but the green paper has a bit of a plaid pattern in it.  She used that paper to cut out the holly leaves.  It gives a neat look to the holly along with the embossing of the die itself.

We mentioned in a previous post about our Christmas Card Swap
that we had here at the Farmhouse.
If you are interested in seeing the cards and placing your vote on one of them,
be sure to stop by the Farmhouse to do so before Wednesday, September 6.
We will be choosing a winner that day.

Have a great (& safe) holiday weekend!
Cheryl

Coffee and Baskets

Here is a card Rachel created from some coffee-cup fabric that we have at the Farmhouse.

This is the inside of the card.

Here is another card from the same fabric.

(the inside of this one)

She used these fabrics . . .

. . . . and this stamp.

Christmas is only 4 months away!
We have lots of Christmas fabrics and paper here at the Farmhouse.
Here is a card I created using a basket stamp and die.

(the inside of the card)

I used this paper on both the front and the inside of the card.
(The picture shows both sides of one paper.)

A lot of the paper we sell is two-sided.  This piece is great
for a simple card or to use as a background.

I used this paper for the background on the front of the card.

I also used this stamp and die to create the basket.
The stamp and die are sold separately.

I used the holly from this fabric to "fill" the basket.

Here is another card using the basket stamp and die.

(the inside of the card)

I used this fabric . . .

. . . and this stamp set for the inside of the card.

The Shop Hop Passports have arrived!
If you haven't purchased one yet,
call us and we'll reserve one for you.

Christmas Card Swap

Today was Christmas Card Swap at the Farmhouse.
Those who signed up for the class made multiple copies of a card designed by themselves (they were notified ahead of time how many cards to make),
and gave one to each person attending the class.
There were six ladies in the class today; so, each lady received
six different Christmas cards to take along home.
Here are the cards that they made.

Here is where you can participate.
Stop by the Farmhouse before Wednesday, September 6,
and vote for your favorite Christmas card.
The winner will receive a prize.

This is the card that Rachel made for the card swap.

Here are the insides of two of the cards.

She used this fabric which, at first glance, you would think is too large for a card.
Think again!

Can you see how she cut the pictures in half to use to decorate the inside of her cards?

You can also use this fabric to decorate other items for gift-giving.

She also used these fabrics to decorate the front of her cards.

Hoping you'll stop by the Farmhouse!

Hot Air Balloons

Here is another card Rachel made with some new fabric.

This is a pop-up card.  The balloon on the inside pops up when you open it.
She used this die to create this card.

This is the fabric that she used.

The stamps that she used came from these sets.

She used this paper for her background.

Enjoy your day!

Birthday Celebrations

Everyone has a birthday to celebrate.
Here are some birthday celebration cards.

We also made these favor boxes with the same fabric.

We used these fabrics for the creation of these cards and favors.

We used this die to create the favor boxes.

This is the glitter paper that we used, and it is one of the 5 colors
of glitter paper that we offer here at the Farmhouse.

We are gearing up for Shop Hop coming up the end of September!
