Here is a card that Rachel made with pin wheel fabric.

There are 3 different fabrics used on this card.

She used this die to make the grid lines on the card.

It comes from Purple Daisy Design.

More Quilt Cards

Here are some more quilt cards that Rachel made.

They are from some of the new quilt dies that we got into the Farmhouse.

These are the two dies that she used on the cards.

She used this new line of paper on these cards.

It is two-sided paper.  Each photo shows both sides of the paper.

Here is another card that Rachel made 

using a coloring stamp and die set.

This set comes from Purple Daisy Design as well.

This Saturday, February 24, Rachel is planning to do a 

Quilting With Paper Class where the participants 

will create two different cards with quilts on them.

The cards will be similar to the cards shown above -

a "pieced" quilt and a "stamped and colored" quilt.

We still have some spots open for the class.

Quilting With Paper

Here are samples of a card that we will be making at our 

Quilting With Paper Class on Saturday, February 24.

In this class we will be making two cards with a paper quilt on it 

using a Purple Daisy Design Quilt Die.

We stocked some new quilt dies here at the Farmhouse, 

and we will be using one of those new dies for this class.

Learn to piece colors to make your quilts truly eye-catching!

This is the die that Rachel used for this card.

Tea-Bag Folding Class

Here is a sneak peak at a card that we will be making 

in a class we are offering later this month.

It is the Tea-Bag Folding Class that was scheduled for the 

end of January, but we had to reschedule it.

This class is now scheduled for February 21, at 9:30 am.

We still have some openings in this class; so,

if you are interested in participating in it, give us a call.

Here is another card that was made from the 

leftover scraps from the tea-bag folded card.

Poppies

I am so excited to show you these beautiful cards that Rachel made!

  

Aren't they gorgeous?!

She made all these cards from one piece of fabric.

She used an aqua-colored paper that has a beautiful sheen to it,

and embossed it to make the background of each card.

She also had plenty of options left from the fabric 

to embellish the insides of the cards as well.

If you haven't tried card-making with fabric but are interested

in experimenting with it, this would be a good fabric to start with. 

It is simple, yet elegant.
