Of Reds and Chickadees

Many of you who know Rachel know that she grew up in a quilt shop.
She loves to piece and sew wall hangings and mug mats.
Here are some mug mats that she created recently.

She also made a cup-cozy to hold your travel mug.
The above items make great gifts!

She made matching cards with the same fabrics.

Here are some of the red fabrics that she used.

She used stamps from these sets on the cards.

Rachel made these beautiful chickadee cards a few weeks ago.

The above cards are 5 x 7 cards.
Here are some A2 cards, too.

She used these fabrics to create them.
(pardon the wrinkles - we only have fat quarters left!)

If you haven't been out to visit us this week yet,
there's still time to participate in our Christmas sale!
It runs through Saturday, December 1.
Be sure to stop by!

Christmas is Coming!

These cards were created from this fabric.

So ... still looking for a present for "the-hard-to-buy-for"?

We have a new item called "Sound Shapes".
You can make a Christmas tree ornament out of them!

(back of ornament)

To watch a video of this one playing, hop over to our Facebook page!

Rachel used this die and mounted the sound shape to it.

You can mount these sound shapes to your card
or make a little gift box/bag to give it in.

Here is a view of the other sound shapes that we have in stock.

Don't forget ... our Christmas Sale starts this Saturday!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you from those of us at the Farmhouse!

Mickey and Quilts

For all you Mickey Mouse lovers,
we have some new dies that we just got in!
Rachel made this card from one of them.

Here are the dies that we have currently.  She used the one on the right for the above card.

She used the holly from this fabric to embellish the card.

We also have this stamp set to go with the dies.

I mentioned our Christmas Sale coming up soon.
One of our sale items will be our quilt dies.
Here are some cards made with one of the dies.

(inside of card)

She used this quilt die to create the quilt on the front of the card.

She used papers from this paper pad to create the quilt.

Here are two more cards made with the same die.

(inside of card)

Rachel used this fabric (as well as the holly fabric above)
as additional embellishments to the cards.

Stay tuned for our sale flyer coming up next!

November Fabric Club

Today was our monthly fabric club meeting again.
Cheryl (not me) was our hostess,
and this is the card that she created for the group to make.

(inside of card)

She used a template to cut the shapes out of these fabrics.

She embellished the card with a fabric that has fall-looking leaves on it.
(which we don't have anymore. 😞 )

Rachel made this card for the club ladies to make today.

(inside of card)

She created the background of the card from scraps of leftover fabric.

She cut 1-inch strips from the fabric and cut them into 1-inch squares.
She pieced them together in a patchwork pattern.

She used this fabric to embellish the card.

She created these cards from the same fabric.

She used the cluster of pine cones from the fabric on this card.

She used this fabric on the above card.

Stay tuned for our upcoming sale!
