2017 Summer Class Schedule

v  Quilting with Paper Class taught by Rachel Stoltzfus
Make “quilted” cards & scrapbooking embellishments using Purple Daisy Designs dies and your Cuttlebug or Big Shot machine. Learn to place the colors to make your quilts truly eye-catching. The cost of this class includes one quilting die (valued at $24.99) and supplies to make 2 cards.
Saturday, June 10 – 9:30 – 11:30am  Cost:  $35.00 per person

v  Brother Scan N Cut Class taught by Sylvia Field
Learn to use your brother Scan N Cut machine to cut out fabric images on sticky paper instead of cutting out with a scissors. We will demonstrate the use of the draw feature.  You will make and take home one card made with fabric.
Wednesday, June 21 - 9:30am - 11:30pm   Cost: $20.00 per person

v  Pot Pie Crop
Bring your photos and scrapbooking supplies and spend the day with us.  We provide donuts and coffee when you arrive and Mom’s homemade chicken pot pie meal for lunch, plus lots of inspiration and hands on help with your pages and/or card-making.  Age Limit: 12 years and older  
Friday, July 14 – 9:00am – 4:00pm   Cost: $23.00 per person

v  Shirley’s Sunburst Scrapbook Page Class taught by Shirley Gillet
Learn to use the “Hot Off The Press” plastic templates to create a truly eye-catching background for your scrapbook page of Lancaster County.  We will be using some of our farm-related fabric to embellish the page.  You will make one 12x12 page layout.
Cost includes sunburst template.

v  Introduction to Quilling Class by Nancy Salzman
Learn the basic art of quilling. Make & take home two quilled images.
Saturday, July 22 – 9:30am – 11:30am    Cost: $20.00 per person
  
v  Card-Making with Fabric & Dies taught by Rachel Stoltzfus
Take card-making with fabric to the next level .  “The world is wide!”  J You will make and take home 2 cards using one of the latest folding techniques.
Wednesday, July 26 – 9:30am – 11:30am   Cost: $15.00 per person

v  Advanced Quilling Class taught by Nancy Salzman
Take your quilling skills to the next level.  You will be quilling using fabric images as your base.
Saturday, August 5 – 9:30am – 12:00pm  Cost:  $20.00

v  Zippered Bag Class taught by Sylvia Field
Bring your sewing machine and zipper foot and learn to make a simple bag using some of the beautiful fabrics you can find at Farmhouse Memories, along with cards to coordinate. All supplies will be included to make the bag & 4 cards to fit inside.
Wednesday, August 9  – 9:30am – 12:00pm?  Cost: $32.00 per person

v  Christmas Card Swap
Come to this event with Christmas cards you have created and swap cards with the other ladies. It’s a great way to share ideas and make new friends. Please bring a finger food to share for lunch.

v  Shirley’s Beach Scrapbook Page Class taught by Shirley Gillet
We are thrilled to have Shirley, formerly from Paper Place in Mount Joy, teach this class! Come make a two page layout using some of the gorgeous beach fabrics we have in stock. Keep your eyes open for a preview of the layout on the blog!
Wednesday, August 23 – 9:30am – noon   Cost: $20.00 per person

v  If you have a group of friends that would like to do a class together, call ahead and schedule your own personal class. We also rent out our upstairs cropping room for a fee of $8 per person, per day. Please call ahead to schedule your day.
