2015 Winter/Spring Class Schedule


v  Beginner Brother Scan N Cut Class taught by Sylvia Field
With the Brother Scan N Cut you can scan virtually anything to create cut designs and save to your USB drive for future use so you will never have to buy a cartridge again. The machine also has 700 built in designs including quilt and applique patterns. It will also cut fabric for sewing, quilting, and applique. In this beginner class you will learn the basic functions of the machine and make and take home one card. You will need to bring your own machine to this class. The machine will be available for purchase at a discount on the day of the class.
Wednesday, January 28 - 9:30am - 11:30am   
Cost: $15.00 per person

v  Card-Making with Outline Stickers Class taught by Rachel Stoltzfus
On the first card, we will be using outline stickers on clear plastic and coloring with Glaze 3-D markers to achieve the look of stained glass. You will also learn to use the innies of outline stickers. On the second card, we will make glitter paper, put the outline stickers on it, and color it with Copic markers. You will make and take home two cards.
Saturday, February 7 - 9:30am - 11:30am   
Cost: $20.00 per person

v  Valentines Crop  
Bring your photos and scrapbooking supplies and spend the day with us.  We provide donuts and coffee when you arrive and a Valentines lunch, plus lots of inspiration and hands on help with your pages and/or card-making. 
Age Limit: 12 years and older   Cost: $23.00 per person
Thursday, February 12 - 9:00am - 4:00pm   

v Advanced Scan N Cut Class taught by Sylvia Field
Learn some of the advanced features on this machine. You will make a card using fabric and also create a scrapbook page title by using the “scanning to cut data” features. You will need to bring your own machine to this class.
Saturday, February 21 - 9:30am - 11:30am   
Cost: $15.00 per person

v  Stamping to DIE for Class taught by Rachel Stoltzfus
Learn how to use stamp sets that coordinate with dies to speed up your
 card-making. You will make and take home two cards.
Wednesday, February 25 - 9:30am - 11:30am   
Cost: $20.00 per person

v  Paper Quilts Class taught by Rachel Stoltzfus
Using square punches and scraps of paper learn how to make miniature quilts to accent your scrapbooking pages and greeting cards.  You will make and take home one card and one paper quilt embellishment.
Saturday, March 7 - 9:30am - 11:30am   
Cost: $15.00 per person

v  Card-Making with Fabric Class taught by Rachel Stoltzfus
Learn how to make fun and easy cards using fabric and your Cuttlebug machine and     Spellbinders Nestabilities dies. You will make and take home two cards.
Saturday, April 4 - 9:30am - 11:30am   
Cost: $15.00 per person

v  Table Runner Class taught by Sylvia Field
Learn how to make a table runner by cutting a border print into triangles using a 60 degree triangle ruler. The results are simply amazing. The class does not include the cost of the fabric. See flyer for more details.
Wednesday, April 15 - 9:30am - 12:30am   
Cost: $20.00 per person

v  Pot Pie Crop
Bring your photos and scrapbooking supplies and spend the day with us.  We provide donuts and coffee when you arrive and Mom’s homemade chicken pot pie meal for lunch, plus lots of inspiration and hands on help with your pages and/or card-making.  Age Limit: 12 years and older   Cost: $23.00 per person
Thursday, April 23 – 9:00am – 4:00pm   

v  If you have a group of friends that would like to do a class together, call ahead and schedule your own personal class. We also rent out our upstairs cropping room for a fee of $8 per person, per day. Please call ahead to schedule your day.



*Your space for the classes will be reserved when we receive your payment. If you wish to cancel a space for a class we need to know 3 days in advance in order for you to receive a refund in store credit. We reserve the right to cancel a class in which case we would issue store credit.
