Hexagons

Today we want to show you a newer layering die.
It's a hexagon shape.

Here is how Rachel used it with fabric.
This card is an A7 card.

(inside of card)

She used this fabric, and the hexagon die worked perfect with it!

Here are two more cards that she made with this fabric and die.

Here are two other hexagon-shaped fabric images that we have in stock.

Dorothy made this card from the last fabric.
The yellow hexagon was cut with the die.

Stay tuned for our National Scrap-booking sale coming up soon!
Also, we are working on our class schedule for the summer.
Stay tuned for that as well!

AND, just a reminder - we will be CLOSED this Saturday, April 27.

It's a beautiful day here in Paradise, Pennsylvania!
We hope you are enjoying your day!

Springtime

Spring has sprung in our corner of the world!
Here is a "springy" card that Rachel made.

Notice the 3-D look with the window.

She used this fabric to make the card.

She also used these dies on the card.
This one created the window frame.

She used these to layer with each other.

Here is another card using the same fabric.

She used this die to create the lacy background

(inside of card)

She used these die sets to create the layered look on the inside of the card.

Jesus died to give you life!  Don't reject His gift!
May you all have a blessed Easter this weekend!

(please note:  we will be closing early on Friday, April 19, at 2:00 pm)

Club Challenge

In our monthly club meeting, Rachel had issued a challenge to the ladies.
For those who wanted to participate, there was a free fat quarter or two for
for them to take home and design a card (or as many as they wanted)
as long as Rachel could keep one at the shop for display.
Here are the fabrics Rachel gave to them to use.

At our meeting last week, the ladies showed the cards that they made.
We are going to show them to you today.

This card was made by Linda.

(of course you have to see the inside.😊 )

Here is a card made by Burnsie.

These two cards were made by Lu.

This one was made for us by Tricia.

Here are two cards made by Dora.
(Can you see the little barn door hanging open to reveal an animal inside?)

Nancy made all of these cards.

Barb was the creator of these cards.

And last, but not least, Cheryl (not me) created these cards for us.

(of course you need to see behind the wooden doors!)

Thank you, ladies, for designing and creating for us!

We love when our customers bring samples of things that they made to show us!
Enjoy your day!

Card Frame

Today is our monthly club meeting,
and Rachel taught the ladies how to make a card that can be
turned into a frame when you are finished with it.

Here is the card that she made.

When whoever you gave a card like this to is finished with the card,
they can turn it into a frame like this by adding a picture
and hang it on the fridge or put it in a scrapbook.

We printed notes on the computer and added one to the back of the card
so the receiver of the card knows that the card has further use.

She used these dies to make the frame.

She used these fabrics to embellish the card.

Here is another card with the same idea.

She used this die for the frame.

You can stick a picture in it and set it on an easel.

And here is a third card with the same idea.

She used this die (the center piece) to make the corner pieces on the frame.

The images come from this fabric.

Here are some coordinating fabrics that are from the same line.

It's a beautiful spring day here in Lancaster County!
Enjoy your day!
