In other news, some of you might remember Rachel's niece, Janae.
Today is her wedding day!
In honor of that, Rachel made some cards using a fabric that was a favorite of Janae.
(insides of cards)
She made a little gift card envelope/pocket on the front of the first card.
She used a magnet to close the pocket.
We sell tiny little magnets at the Farmhouse.
She put a glue dot on the magnet ...
... and placed it on the flap of the envelope.
She went to her favorite hardware store
and found the smallest metal washers that they had.
She placed two glue dots (one on either side of the hole)
on the washer and centered the washer over the magnet
with the glue dot side up.
When she closed the flap of the envelope,
the washer stuck in the proper place on the envelope
with the help of the glue dots on it.
She placed an embellishment on the outside of the flap to finish it.
Rachel used these two fabrics to create these cards.
The card backgrounds came from this two-sided paper.
(both sides shown)
The gold corners on the front of the first card came from this sticker sheet,
and the sentiments are from this stamp set.
Keep creating!
It keeps your mind active!
