A card for a lady and some for men . . .

If you've been into the farmhouse the last several months,
you might have seen these fabrics setting around.

Rachel made this card for a lady from those fabrics.

The wording on the card was done on the computer.
She used this Cheery-lynn die for the flower on the front.

Karina made these cards for men.

She used these fabrics.

Rachel also has this beautiful fabric panel to match the above fabrics.
It measures 24" x 44".

We will be posting our Summer Class schedule on the blog soon!
Have an uplifting day!  ðŸ˜Š

Violets

Here is a peek at one of Rachel's newer fabrics.  This fabric comes from
Maywood Studio and is absolutely beautiful!

Sylvia Field used it to make a beautiful zippered pouch which Rachel offers for sale here at the store.  It is large enough to hold 4 hand-made cards.

Rachel also made these cards from this fabric.

She used these stamps and dies to make the baskets
(they have a slit in each basket to be able to slip a note inside) . . .

. . . and these stamps for the words.

She also used these stamps and dies on the one card.

Be sure to stop by and see all the new fabrics Rachel has received at the store recently!
Enjoy your day!

Cards for Men

Sometimes it's a struggle to make cards for men. It just seems easier to make things with flowers and glitter and lace! If  you find yourself in this dilemma perhaps these cards will give you the inspiration you need!

Rachel gets the credit for the "woodsy" cards:

A closer look at each:

This is a small staples binder that Rachel decorated:

Cheryl created these farming cards:

The fabric is busy enough that a simple layout is all it takes!

On a different note, some of you have heard that I will be leaving Farmhouse Memories (and Lancaster County too)! I have agreed to serve as cook for 1.5 years at Fairplay Boys camp in Westminster, South Carolina starting this summer. The camp is set up to help troubled boys overcome their behavioral and emotional issues and develop life skills.

I'm looking forward to having a little extra time at home before I leave so my last day here at the Farmhouse will be next Thursday, April 20th.

Thank you all for being friends and not just customers. It's been a pleasure serving you!

Millions of Minions

Do you like Minions?  If you do, we've got fabric just for you!
Here are two cards Rachel made with the Minion fabric.

This is the fabric and stamps that she used.

She also has fabric to make a tote . . .

. . . and puppets . . .

. . . . and a growth chart.

We also want to notify you of our Easter weekend hours.

Happy Easter to each of you!  May you have a blessed weekend!

April Club Cards

Today was club at the store.  Andrea Schmehl was the hostess this month
and these are the tea cards she created.

Rachel made this card as her sample for the ladies to make.

Below are some of the cards the ladies made.  Notice the variations between them.
All of them are beautiful.

These are the fabrics Andrea used to make her cards.

Here are the fabrics Rachel used on her card.

Hope you are enjoying this gorgeous spring day!
