Junk Journal and New Fabric

Thursday, August 10, at 9:30 am join us at the Farmhouse
to learn from Debbie Vanmeter how to create your very own Junk Journal
with lots of pockets and tags, using paper and fabric.

(this is the Junk Journal Debbie made)

This pack of scrapbook paper will be used.

Here are the stamps.

This stencil was used to get the honey comb effect.

This black lace is the perfect detail for your Junk Journal.

Autumn in Lancaster County

Rachel made this beautiful scrapbook page layout
representing Lancaster County in the autumn months.

Here's the die cut she used.

Along with the scrapbook page layout, Rachel also created these cards.

(A2 card)

These are the stamps and the die cut that was used to
create this card,

These were used on the birthday card.

Stitching Dies & New Fabrics

Recently, Laura taught a stitching class at the Farmhouse.
The participants made two different cards.
They made one like this.

(insides of cards)

They used this stitching die to create the pattern.

The "hello" on the one card was created
with this stamp and die set.

They also made this card (shown with the dies used) in the class.
The stitching die is on the right.

This die (on left) was used to create the mount for the stitching,
and this embossing folder (right) was used to create the card background.

Here are some more stitched cards.

The stitching base was created using this die.

We've received a new shipment of stitching dies at the Farmhouse!
I'm showing you both sides of each package so that you can see the die,
but also a sample of what it can look like.
